Dream Eyes Contact Review

The first of several Dream Eyes color contact review.  I put these contacts to the test!

Dream Eyes has FDA approved non prescription yearly contact lenses.  I don't normally wear contacts with my glasses so this was an entirely new experience for me!

Here is the packaging.  It's similar to Acuvue packages only with two larger containers instead of six small ones.

The box opens up to show directions. Being a prescription contact user, this wasn't needed for me. I just went for it.

The containers are harder to open then Acuvue but much easier then my Honey Color prescription lenses since these peel open with effort. Honey Color comes in bottles with a plastic plug and a metal cap that can be tough to get off without getting cut.

I picked a light purple lens for my first review because I was very curious about how well the light color would cover my hazel eyes which are gold mostly but can appear really dark or green depending on the lighting.  As you can see, the light purple really popped on top of my hazel eyes.

One in and one out.
I was also curious if the lenses would still pop behind my glasses. They did. My eyes were loud and proud behind my frames.

Pop!  I am not a fan of pictures with my glasses on...
I put these contacts to the ultimate test by wearing them to work.  It's an unusual feeling for me to have glasses and contacts on but interesting. I made it about half the day until I felt a little too bleary eyed to continue.  The contacts are very comfortable. My place of work has dry air and the contacts didn't stay moist.

After wearing them for half of the day.
In reality, these contacts are for costuming and having a fun day changing your eye color. For those purposes they are great and were extremely comfortable when I first put them in.  They only dried out because I put them in an extreme condition.

A closer look at the contact color.

I definitely recommend these lenses. Give them a look at

The color I tried is Natural Violet Floral.

They are also still looking for more Cosplay blog reviewers. Contact me if you would like to take part and I will forward you to them.
